Harp and Crown Credit Union sponsor The Wagglers again!

The Wagglers were formed in 2005 to allow anglers within the police family the ability to enjoy their sport in a safe environment.  Amongst their members are retired and serving police officers impacted from the Troubles.  The club has gone from strength to strength, competing within Police Sport UK, regularly sending teams to PSUK events across the UK.  Whilst the club creates a highly competitive atmosphere, they also promote an agenda of well-being and support. 

Chris McSherry, Club Secretary of The Wagglers Match Angling Team said:

“We are extremely grateful to the Harp and Crown Credit Union for their continued support.  Police sport is important to serving officers, and in particular retired members, in keeping that sense of belonging and helping maintain good mental health.  It’s great that the Harp and Crown Credit Union continue to support this.”
