2025 Highlights!

Here’s just some of the highlights! 

⭐️ We’ve now recorded over 15,000 members having used Harp and Crown Credit Union services since we launched in 1998!

⭐️ We saw at least 700 NEW members join us in 2025.

⭐️ We ended the year with over 10,500 active members including Junior account holders.

⭐️ We now have OVER 800 Junior’s aged 0-15 years saving with us (what a fantastic financial start you are giving your children and grandchildren)!

⭐️ We are HELPING even more of our members with lower cost, ethical and flexible loans. Our Loan book ended the year with over £18.5M (that’s over £1M more than the previous year).

⭐️ Our NEW Flexi-loan product, providing credit when needed, has seen over £1.3M borrowed. Over 600 members have availed of this product so far and growing.

⭐️ We introduced a brand-new 0% INTEREST loan product… our School Uniform Loan!

⭐️ We announced our accreditation as a Living Wage Employer!

⭐️ We launched our new 3-Year Strategic Plan “Beyond the Numbers”.

⭐️ We launched our brand-new ONLINE JOINING facility, making it easier for YOU and YOUR FAMILY to join the Harp and Crown!

⭐️ Over 70% of members are now online banking registered using our ONLINE APP with 24/7 access, faster payments, access to your Junior accounts and more.

⭐️ We supported our Police Family and wider community through Charity and Sponsorship totalling over £17K!

⭐️ We hosted the Police Credit Union Meeting (the first meeting held since before the COVID crisis).

⭐️ We won a 3rd Place Trophy for the 2025 ILCU CU Challenge!

⭐️ We increased our maximum shareholding limit and borrowing capacity to £35K!

⭐️ Finally, we announced an INCREASED DIVIDEND of 3% at our 27th AGM (up for the 4th consecutive year). Including a Loan Rebate, that’s over £1.3M we have given back to YOU our members!
