Going Green to Help with Rising Energy Costs

Amidst the never ending fuel and energy price hikes, more customers are turning to "greener" options to save money.  Many are choosing to install renewable energy at home, as a way of saving on energy bills and reducing dependence on fossil fuels.  One such renewable becoming very popular is the installation of Solar Panels.

Money Saving Expert presented a review back in April, highlighting the pros and cons of Solar Panels, and what it could potentially save the customer in the long term.

Moneysavingexpert.com suggests that solar panels cost an average of £6,500.  If eligible, members of the Harp and Crown Credit Union can enjoy a competitive interest rate of 6.9% APR on loans over £5,000.
