In line with the recent Mental Health Awareness Week theme of ‘Taking Action to Support Good Mental Health’, Harp and Crown Credit Union is proud to take action, supporting our members and police family through sport, health and wellbeing initiatives.
One way in which we are doing this is through sponsorship of PSNI Cricket.
Harp and Crown Credit Union Marketing Manager, Elaine Riddell said;
“Supporting our wider Police family and community is of the utmost importance to us at Harp and Crown Credit Union. We recognise the many challenges our members, many of whom are serving Police Officers, face daily, and it’s fantastic to see so many get involved in sport. We are proud to support PSNI Cricket Club, as the Principal Sponsor for the 4th year, and we wish you the very best of luck for the forthcoming season.”
PSNI Cricket Club Spokesman said:
“PSNI Cricket Club would like to thank Harp and Crown Credit Union for their continued support again this year. As our principal sponsor, their funding and support has enabled the club to invest in new playing kit and equipment for our players. They provide an invaluable service not only to us as a club but our players and the extended police family.”
The Police Sport UK (PSUK) team played their 1st game against the combined forces of Norfolk and Suffolk Police last week, eventually coming out second best by 4 wickets in a close fought encounter.
The Midweek side kicked off their T20 campaign with a loss against Ardent Blues in the NCU league.
Both matches were well fought, hard games, but unfortunately both teams are still looking for their 1st win of the season.
Harp and Crown Credit Union wishes PSNI Cricket Club the very best of luck for the season ahead.
The Harp and Crown Credit Union has been providing safe, ethical and flexible finances for the Police and wider Police family in Northern Ireland since 1998.
