Mental Health Awareness Week

11 May 2026

mental health week 11th may
It’s Mental Health Awareness Week (11th-17th May) and the theme is “Action”.

Led by the Mental Health Foundation, this year focuses on the power of taking action to improve mental health — whether that’s for yourself, for someone else, or for all of us.

At Harp and Crown Credit Union, this message is at the heart of what we do every day.

For yourself
Taking action for your mental wellbeing can start with feeling more in control of your finances. Whether it’s building savings, managing repayments, or planning ahead, small steps can reduce stress and bring peace of mind.

For someone else
Checking in on others matters. If you know someone who may be struggling financially, encouraging them to reach out for support could make a real difference.

For all of us
We’re proud to support the wider Police Family in Northern Ireland — a community that looks out for one another. By providing safe, ethical, and flexible financial services, we aim to reduce financial pressure and support overall wellbeing across our community.

Financial worries can have a significant impact on mental health, but you don’t have to face them alone. Taking action even a small step can help you move forward.

Our team is here to provide confidential support and guidance to help you manage your finances.
