Carers Week - We see YOU!
15 June 2024
"Putting Carers on the Map."
Carers week is an awareness campaign in the UK. The aim this year is to highlight the increasing pressures that carers face and help provide them with the recognition and support they deserve.
Millions of people in the UK look after a friend or family member who cannot cope without their support whether that be from a medical condition or illness, and they do this unpaid!
Challenges faced by Carers
Whether the circumstances are temporary, such as caring for a close family member after major surgery, or longer term…there are many challenges involved.
-
Adapting your everyday life to care for that person.
-
Making changes to your home to make it more accessible for that person.
-
Impact on your mental and physical health.
We recognise YOU! We see YOU!
Harp and Crown can support you with your financial needs at this time.
We provide ethical borrowing for our members. This could help with the cost of making your home more comfortable for the person you are caring for or perhaps to cover the costs of private surgery.
Should you be faced with any challenges such as unexpected health issues or costs you can use your savings account as an emergency fund to help get through this.
