Upgrade to Adult Account
Once your "Junior" turns 16 years old, their Junior account automatically becomes a regular savings account.
However, some points to note:
- A new email address must be provided for the account so that we can contact the Junior / now adult saver account holder directly.
- Beneficiary and personal details - any changes in personal details should be updated by emailing creditunion@harpandcrown.co.uk.
- Direct Debit - a minimum £10 per month is required to keep this account open. Please notify us of any bank/direct debit changes.
- Junior to adult members can enjoy the benefits of a savings account, however, they won't be able to participate in AGM nominations until the age of 18 years old.
- At age 17 years old a member can apply for a loan, however a Guarantor is required for ages 16 - 17 years.
