Mental Health Awareness Week
14 May 2023
It’s Mental Health Awareness Week (15-21 May) and the theme is “Anxiety”.
According to the Mental Health Foundation, amongst many reasons, we can also “get anxious when it comes to things to do with money and not being able to meet our basic needs, like heating our home or buying food.”
Are you experiencing financial difficulty for the first time?
Please don’t suffer in silence and let debt get out of hand.
Talk to us as early as possible so that we can help you avoid sinking into further debt.
Here are just some ways we can try to help your financial situation:
-
We can check your savings balance - quite often our members are surprised by how much they’ve saved when it’s deducted from payroll. You might have more in savings than you think!
-
Already have a loan with us and can’t afford the payments right now? Please let us know so that we can look at an affordable repayment plan for you.
For free debt advice, we fully endorse speaking with a debt help charity such as CAP or StepChange.
