junior to adult what happens

We offer JUNIOR ACCOUNTS from BIRTH to 15 YEARS.  BUT…WHAT happens to YOUR JUNIOR’S account once they turn 16 YEARS??

  1. We CONTACT the TRUSTEE of the account to CONFIRM their JUNIOR’S EMAIL address

  2. BENEFICIARY and PERSONAL details must be updated via creditunion@harpandcrown.co.uk

  3. DIRECT DEBIT details need to be UPDATED with a MINIMUM £10 PER MONTH deducted to keep their account open

  4. The JUNIOR account is NOW an ADULT* account!

  5.  Once the Junior account holder turns 16 years, their Trustee will no longer be able to access the Junior account online.

You can now access your Junior accounts via our NEW online banking facility.  Details HERE.  As the Trustee, you can only access your Junior's account online up to age 15 years.

*Please note: a Guarantor is required for members aged 16-17 years (loan applications accepted from age 17) and under 18’s cannot participate in AGM nominations.
