You have never taken a loan with the Harp and Crown Credit Union before
Loans available at our lower interest rate of 5.5% APR
Loans available up to a maximum of £12,000
Loan amount based on 5 x times your total savings (new members can deposit a maximum one lump sum payment of £5,000 in their first year)
Minimum repayment term 6 months
Maximum repayment term 60 months
We no longer require new members to complete one direct debit payment / make one payroll contribution into their member account to qualify and apply. Simply get in touch via email once your membership is activated to organise the relevant deposit required for borrowing e.g. deposit £2,400 to borrow £12,000!
AND DON’T FORGET we now have a FLEXI-LOAN (borrow between £500-£3,000) which can be taken in addition to or instead of a First Time Loan, providing credit when needed (perfect for annual insurances and unexpected bills). This product doesn’t require any pledged shares so you can apply for this any time without making a deposit. The usual 3-month rule between loan applications does not apply to the Flexi-Loan (except for those under restriction who are not eligible to apply at this time). Ts/Cs apply.
With FREE LIFE COVER up to age 70.
In the event of your death, your BENEFICIARY could receive 1.5 times your savings balance (additional benefit capped at £5,000). Example: £10,000 savings balance - your loved one could receive £5,000 on TOP of your savings. We have simplified this process as far as humanly possible to minimise the burden on your loved one.
Any outstanding LOAN BALANCES would also be cleared.
