To celebrate our NEW Signature Loan product, all members who apply during May and June 2026 and are accepted, will be entered into a big £150 PRIZE DRAW! This includes existing Signature Loan members. Prize Draw entry ends on 30th June 2026. The winner will be drawn on 1st July 2026 and contacted thereafter. Good luck!
Loan Criteria and Terms
- Completion of an application form will be required.
- As 20% PLEDGED SHARES ARE NOT REQUIRED for this product, a NEW member can apply as soon as they have received their HACCU membership number (once account is opened).
- Loans available at 9.9% APR.
- Maximum loan of £15,000, subject to application and assessment.
- Minimum loan of £5,000.
- Maximum loan term 60 months.
- Minimum monthly £10 share deposit must be made along with loan repayment.
- Top-ups allowed subject to minimum period of 3 months between loans and subject to above.
- Loan will be cancelled immediately and potentially become fully repayable if minimum monthly payment is missed.
- Share withdrawals can only be made once shares have exceeded 20% ratio (based on original loan value).
FREE LIFE COVER
Up to age 70 years, all Harp and Crown Credit Union member receive Free Life Cover:
- In the event of your death, your BENEFICIARY could receive 1.5 times your savings balance (additional benefit capped at £5,000). Example: £10,000 savings balance - your loved one could receive £5,000 on TOP of your savings. We have simplified this process as far as humanly possible to minimise the burden on your loved one.
- Any outstanding LOAN BALANCES would also be cleared.
