A MINIMUM OF £10 is all that’s required for you to save monthly to keep your account open.
INSTANT ACCESS to your funds is provided, with withdrawal requests processed quickly and on same day if received before 3pm.
ONLINE BANKING APP: We recently launched our brand-new improved online banking facility. Now with an APP and FASTER PAYMENTS facility! Make sure you have requested activation by emailing us first via creditunion@harpandcrown.co.uk. Details HERE.
LODGEMENTS: In your first 12 months of membership, a maximum £100 can be paid per month via payroll or direct debit. A maximum lump sum lodgement of £5,000 can be made in your first year via debit card payment or BACS payment (just contact the office).
ANNUAL DIVIDEND: Unlike a bank, credit unions provide members annual dividends on savings according to profits. Loan interest rebates may be payable to borrowers also!
FREE LIFE COVER: All Harp and Crown CU members receive FREE LIFE COVER up until 70 years of age. In the event of your death, your BENEFICIARY could receive up to £5,000 on TOP of your savings balance.

We paid out almost £90,000 to Harp and Crown CU members’ LOVED ONES in 2023. We are here for YOU and YOUR family. All Harp and Crown Credit Union members receive FREE LIFE COVER up until 70 years of age.
What does this mean?
Your SAVINGS and LOANS are protected with life cover at no direct cost to you.
In the event of your death, your BENEFICIARY could receive 1.5 times your savings balance (additional benefit capped at £5,000). Example: £10,000 savings balance - your loved one could receive £5,000 on TOP of your savings. We have simplified this process as far as humanly possible to minimise the burden on your loved one.
Any outstanding LOAN BALANCES would also be cleared.

Would you like to access your HACCU account ONLINE?
Whilst you can phone, email or call in and see us...you also have the option to register for online banking! NOW with a web based APP and FASTER PAYMENTS facility!
Whether you were registered for our old online platform or wishing to register for the first time, you will need to contact us first to ACTIVATE your new online account. Email creditunion@harpandcrown.co.uk. Full details on what's included in your new online banking HERE.
Please note: if you were already registered for our NEW online banking and have yet to INSTALL THE APP, you do not need to re-register, simply follow the instructions here.
